Thon Hotel Dockyard - Gothenburg

Great hotel with free Wi-Fi, snack bar, and 24-hour reception. I still remember when the staff helped me with an insect bite. Helpful staff like Karl. I'll be back for Xmas!

Fairly clean and ideal hotel, views are lovely, location is excellent between 15-20 minutes to the next tram stop uphill. We stay in standard twin room quite often, it is bright and modern.

Nice waterfront views, but Wi-Fi was spotty . Room was spacious.

Stayed once before and I'm just as pleased this time; beautiful rooms in beautiful surroundings. The breakfast is REALLY good - it used to be good, but now it's SUPER.

It is a bit of a walk to get to the nearest tram stop - a very beautiful walk, but a walk, maybe fifteen minutes.

the rooms are modern, recently renovated, and come with a sofa bed, central heating and an electronic key card.

Polite, smiling and helpful staff. Very good, clean, spacious rooms. The rooms have everything you need and even a few more beautiful clean area, good restaurant, free parking and Wi-Fi. The fresh air

It is difficult to reach without a car. View spoil the oil terminals on the opposite side of the channel, but only the appearance, smell and no dirt on them does not exist in the sea, or in the air

The room was nice and clean with a comfortable bed and a good shower with hot water. Breakfast had plenty to choose from, I enjoyed the eggs and bacon every morning, just what I needed to start the day right.

Closest public transport is a 15 min walk for bus 91 which only comes twice an hour and finishes at 7pm. Then the tram 11 is a further 5-8 mins and leaves every 10 mins which is good but still it is a mission! A bit pricey but all of Sweden is I suppose!! Good experience but I did book the next night closer to town in another hotel!

The breakfast.

The location, the fact that the website advertised something that it is not. There is no carpet in the room, everything is an inconvinience, all the amenities were in one building. Every where you go is more than a 10 minute walk. They do not change the towels often, or made the bed properly. There is no phone in the rooms, no ironing board. This place reminds me of a military barracks. Lastly everything outside the reception building looks crappy and old.

To think i almost gave a good review. The beds are the most uncomftrable i have encountered. I waited for room serice only to find i had to ask for clean towels. They definitly should have done better. Didn't even get a complimentary drink for my troubles. I feel so neglected here.

Unfortunately the position is not convenient if you do not have a car. But if you do, I would definitely recommend this venue

The rooms were split level- facilities downstairs included a cooker, fridge, microwave, etc. The upstairs sleeping area was very comfortable. The hotel had good wifi and a good choice at breakfast.

I'd prefer to have fresh towels every day end got the hairdryer to be kept in the room, instead of having to ask for one at reception. The location of the hotel is nice. However, had I not been travelling with friends who had checked in the previous day, I would never have found it using busses/tram!
